Each step is numbered and shows the distance from the previous step.
Ordnance Survey Grid References are given for those interested, although understanding these is not necessary to follow the walk.
Each walk is printed as a self contained booklet designed to fit easily into your pocket.
Directions are written in simple numbered steps. Each has photographs with direction arrows so there is no doubt about the route to follow.
The centrefold of each booklet shows an Ordnance Survey Landranger (1:50k) map with each step numbered and marked with arrows.
The set is packed into a clear shower proof wallet to keep everything clean and dry. The wallet can also be used to hold an individual booklet to protect it from the weather while you are out walking.
Each of the walks has a clearly identified start location (and some have a choice of starts). Parking is always available and, where relevant, moorings are also available. Some are accessible by train.
Each walking booklet is 11 pages
and
measures 187 x 101 mm (7.3 x 4.0 inches).
Each set contains 10 walking booklets packed in
a clear, shower proof wallet.
Each booklet is self contained and ideal to fit into your pocket.
Will you follow the the arrows on the photos to complete the walk, or will you follow the map on the centrefold. Either way it's the same interesting walk.
