Map Formats

Most computers (and some smart phones and tablets) already have the software to view and print Acrobat (pdf) files. If it's not already installed on your computer then you can use the free Acrobat (pdf) Reader from Adobe. Searching the internet will show if there is an App for your smart phone if it is not already installed.

The Acrobat (pdf) file includes includes the pages for the map, sized for printing A4 size. If your eyesight is good enough you can print them at A5 size, and you can use the Acrobat (pdf) Reader printing options to print at A4 double sided to make an A5 booklet by folding in half.

You can print extra copies if you need them so it doesn't matter if they get wet. Or you can print an extra copy of a page to stuff into your pocket on the way to the supermarket, or the pub.

You can upgrade to the Memory-Map (qct) version anytime in the first 12 months after purchase for the difference in price, and with a discount in years 2 to 5.

On your computer you can scroll around the map by clicking and dragging, and zoom in and out with the mouse wheel, just the way you are used to doing with other software. With a GPS dongle the map will track in real-time (like a sat-nav) and record a trace of where you have been.
