Bardsley Bridge

Bardsley Bridge has been rebuilt with a lower arch since the canal was open, and work will be required to raise the arch, probably requiring the bridge to be rebuilt, if the arm is to be restored.  With only 650m (700 yards) of the branch beyond the bridge with nowhere to wind this might become the terminus of a restored arm.
