Download links for maps are issued by email, usually within a few minutes of completing payment, but can take up to 48 hours to issue.
Posted items will be dispatched within two working days, and often the same day for orders received before 16:00. Posted items are sent by First Class Post to UK addresses and by Air Mail to addresses outside the UK.
Postage rates are: First Item Each Additional Item UK: £2.00 + £1.00 Europe: £4.50 + £1.50 Rest of World: £6.00 + £2.50

1. Business Information
1.1. My name is Paul Balmer.
1.2. I trade under the names "Waterway Routes", "Waterway Maps" and "Waterway Walks".
2. Contact Information
2.1. My preferred method of contact is by email to email@example.com
I aim to reply to emails within 48 hours and usually achieve replies within a few hours during my working day.
2.2. You may post mail to 10 Bude Close, Nailsea, Bristol, BS48 2FQ.
If I am out filming or researching I may not receive the post for several weeks which is why I prefer contact by email which I can receive almost anywhere.
2.3. If it is urgent and you cannot email then you can try phoning me on 07961 701 702. This will often go to voicemail as I may be filming, steering a boat, or undertaking research in a rural area with no mobile coverage. If you are not available when I return the call your question will not be answered which is why I prefer email which I can receive almost anywhere and you do not need to be available at the time I reply.
3. Description of the items
3.1. The items for sale are described on my website and in my printed leaflets.
3.2. The prices displayed on my website and in my printed material include all taxes. I am not registered for VAT so there is no VAT included in the prices.
3.3. Prices may change at any time without warning. Prices shown in my printed leaflets will be honoured until the date shown in the leaflets.
3.4. Postage costs are shown separately on my website and in my printed leaflets.
3.5. The language used in my products is English.
3.6. DVDs are in PAL format and you will need a DVD player or computer capable of reading PAL format DVDs to view them. There is no regional encoding on my DVDs.
3.7. Where maps are ordered in Acrobat (pdf) format you will need Acrobat Reader or equivalent software to use them. Please use one of the free Acrobat (pdf) format maps on my website to check they work with your software and on your device before purchasing one of my maps.
3.8. Where maps are ordered in Memory-Map (qct) format you will need Memory-Map or equivalent software to use them. Please use one of the free memory-Map (qct) format maps on my website to check they work with your software and on your device before purchasing one of my maps.
4. Ordering through my Website
4.1. Place the items into your cart on the website, then follow the checkout process.
4.2. I use PayPal to process your payment securely during the checkout process.
4.3. PayPal will accept payment from many sources, including credit/debit cards and from your own PayPal account.
4.4. You do not need to have your own PayPal account.
5. Ordering by Post
5.1. Post your order to Waterway Routes, 10 Bude Close, Nailsea, Bristol, BS48 2FQ.
5.2. Please ensure you clearly identify the item(s) required.
5.3. Please ensure you include the postage costs in your payment.
5.4. Please make cheques payable to "Paul Balmer". Any cheques made payable to anything else (such as Waterway Routes) will be returned and your order will not be fulfilled.
5.5. Please do NOT send your credit/debit card details through the post.
5.6. I will not dispatch orders until cheque payments have cleared which will normally be 6-7 working days after receipt.
5.7. If I am out filming or researching I may not receive your order for several weeks which is why I prefer orders through my website.
6. Delivery by Download
6.1. Download links for maps are usually issued by email within a few minutes of completing payment, but occasionally take a few hours to issue.
6.2. Download links will be valid for 48 hours from the time of issue. Please download and save the map within that timescale.
6.3. You may ask for a new download link if the original link has expired by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and identifying your order. There will be no charge for this within 12 months of the original order. There will be a charge after twelve months.
7. Delivery by Post
7.1. Posted items will be dispatched within two working days or ordering, and often the same day for orders received before 16:00.
7.2. Posted items are sent by First Class Post to UK addresses and by Air Mail to addresses outside the UK.
7.3. Our postage charges vary depending on where the order is being sent and how many items are being sent. There is a postage charge for the first item, then an extra charge for each additional item. For example, ordering 3 items would incur 1 initial charge plus 2 additional charges.
Postage rates are: First Item Each Additional Item UK: £2.00 + £1.00 Europe: £4.00 + £1.50 Rest of World: £5.00 + £2.50
7.4. The delivery aims are set by the Post Office and can be found on their website. These are summarised as:

8. Cancelling an order for a downloaded map
8.1. You may cancel an order for a downloaded map within 14 days ordering providing you have not downloaded the map. You may NOT cancel the order once you have downloaded the map.
8.2. If you have not downloaded the map please email email@example.com and identify your order with your request for a refund.
9. Cancelling an order for a posted item
9.1. You may cancel an order for a posted item by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org/ You must do so within the cancellation period which lasts for 14 days, starting the day after the day on which the item(s) were delivered.
9.2. You must take care of the item(s) and ensure they are returned in good condition. A deduction may be made from the refund if the items are not returned in good condition.
9.3. You must return the item to Waterway Routes, 10 Bude Close, Nailsea, Bristol, BS48 2FQ. You must return the items within 14 days of emailing me to cancel the order.
9.4. You must return any additional item(s) which were posted with the order or a deduction will be made from the refund equivalent to their value.
9.5. A refund will be made within 14 days of my receipt of the returned goods. The refund will be made by the same means and to the same account as the original payment was from. The refund will include the costs paid for delivery.
9.6. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item. The cost of the return postage is expected to be no more than the postage charges shown above.
10. Faulty Goods
10.1. I take great care to ensure the goods supplied are in good condition and meet the descriptions on my website and in my printed leaflets.
10.2. In the event of an item becoming faulty within 12 months of purchase please email email@example.com with details of the problem and identifying the order.
10.3. If an item becomes faulty within 12 months of purchase I will replace the item. If I am unable to replace the item I will refund the purchase cost.
10.4. I may ask you to return the faulty item and I will pay for the cost of the return in that case. Please do not return faulty items unless I ask you to return them.
11.1. All Maps, DVDs, information booklets, fold-out maps and other materials supplied by me are covered by copyright. The copyright may be owned by me or I may have permission to use the material from the copyright holder.
11.2. You may use the items for private and domestic use.
11.3. You must NOT copy the materials without written permission from me, except for the very limited circumstances permitted by law
11.4. You must NOT broadcast the material or show it at any meeting or presentation without permission from me.
12.1. I am based in England and I conduct my business in English.
12.2. When you place an order with us you agree to these terms and condition and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in all disputes.
