Ready to go

We’re on board our Waterway Routes narrowboat ready to go tomorrow.

We are heading south, towards London, down the Grand Union Canal.

We’ll be starting down Farmers Bridge Locks around 09:00 tomorrow (Monday) morning and aiming to reach Knowle Hall Wharf by the end of the day. Ian Taylor will be fitting a new immersion heater on Tuesday morning, once the engine compartment and everything in there has cooled down enough to work on it.

We’ll continue towards London as soon as that’s done.

Paul has your mooring changed? I thought WR was moored under the apartments?

    • Paul says:

Tom: Our mooring hasn’t changed for 10 years. The photos show the boat in the same place as this one, which is the same place the boat was when you last visited.

Looking forward to meeting Paul. Don’t be in too much of a rush on the glorious Thames!

Sue: We expect to leave Limehouse Basin around 10th August as we head for Lechlade. We’ll make sure we synchronise a stop with you along the way.

You will probably come past us at some point. We are expecting to be at Napton Junction in a day or two, then we are heading for London too. We are not rushing!
