Lancaster Canal DVDs

Great DVDs.

Starting with the Ribble Link, leaving the Leeds & Liverpool Canal at Tarleton Lock, we cross the exciting tidal stretches of the River Douglas and the River Ribble before climbing the locks of the Ribble Link to reach the lock free Lancaster Canal main line.

Gentle cruising covers the navigable length of the main line of the Lancaster Canal to Preston and Tewitfield, plus the locks of the Glasson Branch descending to reach Glasson Basin.

Covering the Northern Reaches on foot, we see progress with the restoration work on our journey to Kendal, with glorious scenery along the way.

We live in the U.S. and take UK canal cruises regularly.

can you tell me, please, if your DVD’s are formatted for U.S. players?

Also, do you sell printed maps of the Lancaster.

    Thanks for your help.

Darks: As explained on the individual DVD pages the DVDs are in PAL format. Most computers and many modern DVD players will play this format but you will have to read the manual for your own device, or check with the manufacturer. I have many happy customers in the USA and Canada who order my DVDs.

I sell maps by download which is the only way I can keep them up to date with monthly updates. It also means you get them instantly by download rather than paying expensive postage and waiting a long time for an out of date printed map to arrive. The Acrobat (pdf) version is formatted into A4 pages so you can easily print it out if you with to have a paper copy.

Visit my Lancaster Canal page to order the DVD and map together and save 10% too. Paul.
